back pages. Commercial health insurance companies paid close to a
billion dollars in a Public Relations campaign to sway American
peoples opinions away from President Clinton’s proposed Universal
Health Insurance. The media blitz worked. That is why Americans do
not have Universal Health Insurance today.
Most Americans take their history freeze-dried and shrink-wrapped
from Dan Rather or CNN. When it comes to commercial health
insurance, you’re not going to get much truth from television or
your politicians. You might be able to get it from your library,
but many of the libraries have had their budgets and hours
slashed. It is a short step from closing the libraries to starting
to burn the books. That wouldn’t matter though because so few
people read. Most people are just too exhausted from working in
the slave-wage fields of our corporate slave masters to come home
and study books that reveal the truth about commercial health
insurance. Most Americans are ill informed and ignorant when it
comes to real knowledge about health insurance. When it comes to
the real truth about health insurance, we’ve been betrayed by our
politicians, the press, our schools and ourselves.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT HEALTH INSURANCE RE-SUMMARIZED
Talk to old people about their health insurance experiences.
Become an advocate for immediate, Universal Health and Life
Insurance. Familiarize yourself with the eligibility requirements
for Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial health insurance and the laws
regarding them. Consult your attorney if your health insurance
company denies you benefits to which you are entitled. Buy as much
health insurance as you can afford and study the fine print.
UNIVERSAL HEALTH INSURANCE
Health insurance is big business. Many people make their livings
in the honorable business of helping sick people. Some of those
people that work in the health insurance industry get rich, but
most don’t. Here’s the way I feel about health insurance.. I
advocate immediate, :Universal Health Insurance for everyone in
America and for every living soul on earth. Every one deserves
whatever help they need when it comes to Universal Health
Insurance, sickness and dying. Some people may say that I’m a
‘bleeding heart liberal’, but I deny it. When it comes to
Universal Health Insurance, it’s better to describe me as a
revolutionary fanatic!
MY FATHER AND UNIVERSAL HEALTH INSURANCE
My father’s was a professional researcher.. He formed his own
research company after retiring from the Library of Congress in
Washington, D.C. Many of the research projects he was commissioned
to do were related to health insurance and United States Law.
Daddy paid me to assist him in some of the research projects.
Daddy trained me personally. The denial of Universal Health
Insurance to American people was an issue that could inflame my
father’s passion. Daddy was right when he said that our leaders
had sold out to the commercial health insurance interests. Thanks,

THE PRICE THAT AMERICAN PEOPLE PAY FOR THEIR IGNORANCE ABOUT
HEALTH INSURANCE, CIVIL LIBERTIES AND THE GROWING MULTINATIONAL
CORPORATIONS
While American people were sleeping, multi-national, global
economy fascists have been busy as bees in regard to health
insurance. Those of us that lived through the Nixon regime are
asking ourselves if history is repeating itself? Social Security,
Medicaid and Medicare Health Insurance, Welfare and School Lunch
programs are under attack by vested, big business interests.
Don’t be surprised if a ‘customer service representative’ for your
health insurance policy someday informs you that due to ‘budget
restrictions’, they can not ‘prescribe’ the funds to pay your
claim.
Our children and teachers are filled with bull when it comes to
health insurance. Few people take the time to study the history of
commercial health insurance. If they did study their history,
people would understand that capitalistic forces have been
manipulating the health insurance industry for years. Most people
don’t study their history, though.
Health insurance sites on the Web are proliferating and
disseminating misinformation about health insurance. The health
insurance sites focus on issues like getting the most bang for
your buck with an HMO rather than pushing for immediate Universal
Health Insurance. Ignorant Americans fill in online questionnaires
at health insurance websites to get comparison price quotes for
health insurance, never realizing that the prices were fixed long
ago.
When people become bedridden and have to lay on their backs for a
long time, fluid builds up in the respiratory tracts. The mucus
causes difficulty in breathing and a lot of coughing. Home
hospital beds help because the home hospital beds can be elevated
at one end or the other. When the home hospital bed is elevated at
one end, the sick person can rest in an upright position. Sitting
up relieves the buildup of phlegm in the lungs and throat. Daddy’s
health insurance policies were supposed to provide a home hospital
bed when our father became bedridden. Neither the Federal health
insurance or the commercial health insurance would provide us with
a home hospital bed.
Home hospital beds make it easier to care for the bedridden
person. The height of the home hospital bed can be adjusted,
usually by a crank. Home hospital beds also make it easier to
prevent bedsores. The home hospital beds make it easier to change
sheets and the bedridden person can more easily be shifted into
different positions. Changing sheets and positions helps to
prevent bedsores. The bedridden must also be kept meticulously
clean in order to prevent bedsores. In spite of the health
insurance companies refusing to give us a home hospital bed, my
brother Bruce took such good care of Daddy that there were never
any bedsores.
